2026-27 helmet and chinstrap requirement

All competitors in tree/pole climbing must wear the same type of climbing helmet used for arbor climbing, properly fitted, with a manufacturer-approved chinstrap properly adjusted and secured throughout the climb, including ascent and descent. This is an FNRL event safety requirement. The Board adopted the change on June 15, 2026; student ratification will be finalized at State Convention.
