State Convention!! Friday and Saturday!!
All CDE events will be offered at the State Convention. Friday will be held at Oregon State University with events running from 9-4. There will be a break from 12-1. There will be a box lunch and we will hold the business meeting at that time. We will ratify changes to the rules, elect Honorary Members, and welcome our new state officer team. The other awards will be handed out on Saturday before presenting ribbons. On Saturday, we will be at the Pacific NW Logging Museum in Brooks. Events will start at 9 and end around 12:30. Log roll will commence after events end, and awards will follow. Log rolling will be in the water!

Parking passes for schools, and judges will be emailed prior to the event. (For OSU)
All guests at OSU must have a parking permit. They are available to purchase at the link below.

Most of the construction that was happening last year is done. It should not limit access.
All parking on Saturday will be in gravel areas. There will be people guiding you to parking spaces.

On March 1, President Trump signed an executive order to increase timber harvest on public lands. Linked is the executive order and an article from OFRI about timber harvests with some data. The topic is to write in favor or against the executive order. Your arguments should be filled with factual information, much of which can be found on the OFRI website.

Here is the qualifying letter for the new Western Regional Forest Products Contest. This will be held at the 2026 Oregon Logging Conference. The top two teams at state will automatically qualify for this event. There is room for a few more teams to apply for the event. I will announce this at the state convention.
